James is one of our most academically gifted tutors. Beginning his academic career at Hills Road Sixth Form college in Cambridge, where he attained A*s in English, History and Mathematics and AS in Further Mathematics and Music at A-Level, he went on to study History at Cambridge University. He graduated with a First-class degree, before continuing to study a Masters degree in Political Thought.
Given the diverse subjects that James studied both at school and university, he is able to help pupils with a wide range of academic disciplines. As well as providing tuition in History, Politics, English, German and Mathematics, James also advises prospective students on Oxbridge entry, exam technique, and essay-writing skills. Additionally he is available to provide interview preparation for pupils preparing for Oxbridge and other university admissions.
