Jesse graduated from Cambridge University with a BA in English Literature and is now working as a tutor in London. She is passionate about literature and theatre, between which she has always divided her time. In addition to tutoring, Jesse directs theatre and reads submissions at a major literary agency.
At university, she was a committee member for the Queens’ Arts festival, and participated in student theatre first as an actor and then director. In her final year, she pitched and directed a successful main-show production of Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler at the ADC theatre. She plays guitar and sings. Jesse loves visiting museums and galleries, walking in the countryside, and watching old films.
Really clear explanations of how to structure paper questions, definitely helped me a lot in understanding how to fill the criteria and achieve the marks.

Really helpful session, I have much more clarity of knowledge on the areas we discussed and a much better understanding of this section of the course.
