Mandarin-speaking Client Manager
  • Location: North London
  • Competitive salary depending on experience

UK Study Centre is looking for an enthusiastic person to join an established and expanding company in the education consultancy sector. Established in 2006, the Company specialises in providing advice and assistance on UK education, tutoring and guardianship services.

About the Client Manager role

  • Handling incoming education enquires
  • Selling and providing private client consultations on international student guardianship and education in the UK
  • Preparation of various documents, including marketing materials
  • Translation / Interpretation of documents
  • Assisting and managing university placement applications
  • Basic administration and general office support
  • Preparation of itineraries, bookings, liaising with clients and suppliers
  • Translation and editing of the online content
  • At times travel outside of London including occasional trips over the weekends and evenings (travel expenses covered).

About You

  • Knowledge of UK private education sector and universities is essential
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential
  • Being able to learn and operate independently
  • Previous working experience is essential, preferably in sales, relationship management or private client services position is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good PC and basic administration skills.

Account Manager / Customer Service

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Russian-speaking account manager. This is a great opportunity for a bright candidate who is looking to join a growing company.

You will have strong communication skills in Russian and English. You should be comfortable on the phone and be able to answer incoming enquiries in the professional and polite manner. You will be a quick learner, proactive, problem solving candidate with the ability to communicate on different levels and work under pressure.

We are recruiting for the right candidate who is able and willing to learn new things and who will become an important part of our team.

Duties

  • Handling incoming enquires

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working in a sales, relationship management or clients services position
  • Fluency in Russian/English both written & spoken, ability to use Russian keyboard

About the Client Manager role

  • Recruitment of academic tutors
  • Arranging and conducting tutor interviews, managing the sign-up process thereafter
  • Handling incoming enquiries via telephone, email and website
  • Selling tuition services to clients and retrieving relevant information about the student
  • Provide private client consultations on education in the UK
  • Assisting and managing university placement applications
  • Conduct international student interviews and help to assess them
  • Expertly matching students to academic tutors, ensuring needs are met both academically and pastorally
  • Following up enquiries and managing the tuition process thereafter
  • Preparation of itineraries, bookings, liaising with clients and suppliers
  • Proofreading and editing of various articles and documents
  • Site blog maintenance
  • Some business development and marketing
  • Occasional travel outside London including occasional trips over the weekends and evenings (travel expenses covered)
  • Other ad hoc duties reasonably requested.

About you

  • Knowledge of the UK private education sector and universities is essential
  • An additional language such as Chinese or Russian would be desirable
  • Experience in sales, relationship management or private client services is desirable
  • Diary management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with members of the team at all levels
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure
  • Organised, proactive and confident decision-making skills
  • Excellent telephone manner and selling skills
  • Competency in MS Office suite
  • Flexible (some ad hoc work required in evenings/on weekends).
