FAQ

Are there any age limits at language schools?

There are no age limits! Language schools offer programs for various age groups. In order to find the best program for your age group, call us or send us a request and we will help you find the best fit for you.

Will I receive some sort of document or certificate upon completion of the course?

Upon completion of a course, you will be given a certificate detailing the school you attended and your results at the end of the course.

Where will I live?

Language school students typically choose one of four options for their accommodation:

  •  Host family – the cheapest option (£120-250 per week)
  • Residence/Student Halls (£200-300 per week)
  • Apartment with a kitchen (from £70 per night)
  • Hotel (from £70 per night)

We will happily arrange your stay in London, from the more economical host family option to the most luxurious hotels!

What do I do if I don’t like my accommodation or the group I have been placed in at school?

Each school will have a special member of staff you can talk to about issues such as these who will be able to help you. You can also always contact your UK Study Centre consultant and we will be able to sort out any problems you have.

Will someone meet me at the airport?

If you would like to be met at the airport, simply tell us beforehand and we will send a driver to pick you up.
You will be met at the airport by a driver holding up a sign with the name of your school and your last name. For adult programmes an airport transfer is not included in the course price.

For most children’s and youth programmes an airport transfer is already included in the programme price, however if you prefer, we can also send our own driver who will be able to keep an eye on your child.

What happens after class at a language school?

Schools have special members of staff whose job it is to organize trips and entertainment outside of class hours. You will be introduced to this person on your first day and they will tell you what the plans for the week are. Some of these extra-curricular events may already be included in the price of your course, while others will have to be paid for separately. You can also organise your own cultural and entertainment program with a group of students from your course – this will help to avoid any extra or unnecessary costs.
