Each school will have a special member of staff you can talk to about issues such as these who will be able to help you. You can also always contact your UK Study Centre consultant and we will be able to sort out any problems you have.
If you would like to be met at the airport, simply tell us beforehand and we will send a driver to pick you up.
You will be met at the airport by a driver holding up a sign with the name of your school and your last name. For adult programmes an airport transfer is not included in the course price.
For most children’s and youth programmes an airport transfer is already included in the programme price, however if you prefer, we can also send our own driver who will be able to keep an eye on your child.
Schools have special members of staff whose job it is to organize trips and entertainment outside of class hours. You will be introduced to this person on your first day and they will tell you what the plans for the week are. Some of these extra-curricular events may already be included in the price of your course, while others will have to be paid for separately. You can also organise your own cultural and entertainment program with a group of students from your course – this will help to avoid any extra or unnecessary costs.
Good English courses usually cost around £150-280 per week (20 hours per week, every day except weekends). Living costs are around £120-280 per week. The cost varies depending on the type of accommodation – host families are typically cheaper than student residences. Therefore, the combined cost of tuition fees and living expenses will usually amount to around £300-500 per week. Another £100-200 per week should be added on for pocket money and transport costs.
