Amber has more than eight years' experience working as a tutor and mentor, both in the UK and abroad. Her portfolio is diverse; she teaches English, both to native speakers and as a foreign language, Drama, elocution, accent reduction, voice coaching, and has extensive experience working with Special Educational Needs pupils.
Amber also has experience tutoring internationally. She regularly returns to Italy to work with EFL students, and in 2012 worked as a governess for a Russian family, preparing three boys for entrance to boarding school in the UK. While working for the family she lived for three months in Almaty, Kazakhstan, as well as spending one month in Dubai.
Amber's vocation is acting, and she has performed nationally, both on stage and for television. She also has a track record as a producer, overseeing productions with The Royal Shakespeare Company, as well as a collaboration with the scriptwriters of Eastenders.
I have had Amber as a teacher for the two last months and I am very happy. She is an excellent professional; she explains everything clearly so that I can understand, and during these past two months I have noticed great improvement in my English. Amber is a wonderful person, very kind and patient.
